Med Surg (Acute Care) RN

Location

  • Macomb, Illinois

Assignment Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift

  • Nights
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in Illinois
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • 3–5 years of nursing experience

Preferred Experience

  • Rural hospital setting experience
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring
  • Experience with outpatient infusions

Unit Details

  • 16-bed Med/Surg unit
  • 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • 1 CNA available for assistance
  • No call requirements
  • Every other or every third weekend
  • No mandatory holiday requirement
  • Floating may include safety sitter or other supportive roles

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for medical and surgical patients
  • Interpret telemetry strips
  • Maintain thorough charting
