Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Location: Washington, DC (within 50 miles)
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts per week, total 36 hours/week)

Job Description

Provide safe, competent nursing care for postpartum and mother-baby patients (this is not a Labor & Delivery role).
Patient population includes vaginal delivery, C-section, and gynecological surgery patients.
Deliver nursing care aligned with facility policies, standards, and Patient Centered Care principles.
Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
Demonstrate Service Excellence standards consistently.
Perform a variety of patient care functions in compliance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse license valid in the District of Columbia.
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
Verified Cerner electronic medical record system experience required.
Certifications required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and BLS (Basic Life Support).
Postpartum/mother-baby nursing experience required.
BSN degree highly desired.

Additional Information

Candidates must live within 50 miles of the job location.
This position requires working three 12-hour day shifts per week.
