Location: Bellevue, Nebraska
Employment Type: Contract Clinician
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Perform arterial and venous Doppler exams (ultrasound) independently.
Utilize equipment including ultrasound systems with color Doppler and spectral analyzer, transcranial Doppler ultrasound system, O2 equipment, pulsed volume recorder, segmental pressure measurement system, and treadmill.
Use hospital computer information systems and digital reporting systems.
Work schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with participation in night and weekend on-call rotation.
Occasionally work alone.
Orientation includes approximately 2 weeks of shadowing staff before working independently.
Dress code: Red scrubs.
Unit has approximately 90 beds and 2 dedicated exam rooms.
No floating to other units.

Minimum of 2 years of vascular sonographer experience.
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credential with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

This position is to cover a medical leave and may require contract extension.
Experience working independently performing arterial and venous Doppler exams is required.
