Respiratory Therapist - Contract Position

Location: Rock Springs, Wyoming
Employment Type: Contract Clinician
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform EKGs, ventilator management, assist with intubation/extubation
• Setup and maintain CPAP/BiPAP
• Obtain and run ABGs/VBGs on patients ranging from neonate to geriatric
• Use equipment including Quadramed HER, BCMA, T systems, Puritan Vents, V60 CPAP
• 12-hour shifts (nights or days) with some weekends required
• No floating to other units

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Wyoming State Respiratory Therapy license (CRT, RRT)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (NRP can be obtained during assignment)
• RRT certification required

Additional Information

• Clean scrubs dress code, no specific color required
• Orientation includes prerequisite training by HR followed by workflow and equipment training in the department
• Facility size: 99 beds
