Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures with a focus on patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
• Interpret physician orders and select appropriate imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique.
• Follow radiation safety regulations and proper documentation when working with radioactive materials.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare team members.
• Train new technologists and/or support staff.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment including scanners, monitors, PACS, and coils.
• Work environments may include outpatient centers, mobile units, or hospital-based facilities.

Equipment Used: GE Discovery PET/CT Unit

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of PET CT experience (higher end of the 1-2 year range specified).
• Dual South Carolina PET/CT license required.
• Nuclear Medicine credentials through NMTCB or ARRT required.
• CT credentials through NMTCB or ARRT required.

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Candidate must hold all required licenses and credentials before starting.
• Ability to work in multiple settings including mobile and outpatient centers is essential.
