Respiratory Therapist Travel Job – Rock Springs, Wyoming

Job Summary

• Provide respiratory therapy including EKGs, ventilator management, assist with intubation/extubation, CPAP/BiPAP setup and maintenance.
• Obtain and run arterial and venous blood gases (ABGs/VBGs) for patients ranging from neonate to geriatric.
• Neonate and pediatric patients are non-critical and typically transferred out.

Work Environment

• Facility size: 99 beds.
• Equipment used: Quadramed HER, BCMA, T systems, Puritan ventilators, V60 CPAP.
• No floating to other units.
• Dress code: Clean scrubs, no specific color required.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts (days or nights).
• Some weekends required.
• Approximately 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Wyoming state respiratory therapy license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (can be obtained during assignment).

Orientation and Training

• Prerequisite training by HR.
• Department-specific workflow and equipment training provided on-site.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks.
