ER Registered Nurse

Overview

  • Travel assignment in Waupaca, Wisconsin
  • 13-week contract
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • 12-hour night shifts
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • Holiday rotation
  • No call or callback

Location

  • Primary location: ThedaCare Waupaca
  • Float scope: to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius
  • No travelers coming from a facility or home location within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate Center in Neenah, WI

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Wisconsin
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • TNCC
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN

Unit Details

  • 8-bed unit
  • Typical ratio: 1:4

Additional Notes

  • Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence
  • 8-hour unbillable orientation
  • No new travelers
