Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Portage, Wisconsin
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Shift: 12-hour variable shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Primary location: Med Surg
• Clinical Interview Services Unit

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• Wisconsin RN license
• 2 years of med surg experience

Schedule / Assignment Details

• 2 weekends out of 4 as needed
• No on-call or back-up call requirements
• May be offered additional shifts for sick calls or similar needs
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Riverview, and Plover
• Up to 7 days of RTO allowed
• Blackout RTO dates: 12/20-1/5
• Scrub color: dark blue

Unit / Patient Population

• Medical and surgical patients, including joint replacements and general surgical patients

Additional Notes

• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours
• Call back minimum is 2 hours
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
