CT Technologist Position

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Shift: 40 hours per week, day shift, Monday to Friday
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Overview

• Work in a busy Level 1 trauma and stroke center
• Large academic medical center with 1000+ beds in downtown Boston
• Well-supported CT department with Siemens and GE CT scanners

Required Credentials & Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required for onboarding
• ARRT Certification – Required for onboarding
• Professional License Verification – Must be current and primary source verified; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
• Fit Test (N95 Respirator) – Must be completed within 365 days prior to start and updated annually; no religious exemptions
• MMR Vaccination or Immunity Proof – Documentation of measles, mumps, rubella vaccines or immunity required
• TB Test – Documentation of TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date; updated if >6 month break
• Health Statement – Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
• Criminal Background Checks – Including Massachusetts CORI, SSN Trace, National Sex Offender Check, and Exclusion Checks
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation – Required if fit test is needed for the role
• Education Verification – Highest level of education must be verified
• Resume – Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• References – Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above, in relevant skillset
• Skills Checklist – Required for submission
• Candidate Submission Coversheet – Required for submission
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form – Required for onboarding

Additional Recommended/Optional Credentials

• Hepatitis B Vaccination or Immunity Proof – Strongly preferred
• Influenza Vaccine – Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no exemptions
• Tdap Vaccine – Preferred, must be within 10 years and updated upon expiration
• Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray – Required if TB test is positive
• TB Symptom Survey – Required if positive PPD, updated annually

Notes

• Fit testing cannot be done onsite except for certain island locations if assignment is extended
• All background checks and credential verifications must be completed prior to start date
• No religious or medical exemptions for N95 fit testing or influenza vaccine
• Documentation must be current and updated as required for breaks in service or assignment extensions
