Job Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Location: Must be able to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
- Work Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Onboarding & Documentation Requirements
- Submission of professional resume/profile and at least two professional references prior to assignment
- Completion of criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and other required screenings within 30 days prior to start; updated annually or after break in service >90 days
- Employment verification for the past seven years, updated annually or after break in service >90 days
- Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start; official transcripts required if verification fails
- Completion of onboarding requirements including:
- Signed assignment agreement
- Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
- Specialty skills checklist (updated annually)
- Nursing contract worker onboarding (completed onsite)
- Pre-hire modules including Nova StatStrip
- Education attestation after pre-hire training
- Confirmation of assignment documentation upon initial assignment and extensions
- Annual NIH certification updates as required
This position is ideal for experienced Medical/Surgical RNs with telemetry skills, EPIC proficiency, and prior travel nursing experience, seeking a long-term assignment with a night shift schedule in the Milwaukee area.
