Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule Notes: Every third weekend and holidays including Labor Day; varied start times

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room setting.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Valid RN license in Iowa.
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course).
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience.
Emergency Department experience within the last year.

Additional Information

Resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references required for submission.
License and certifications must be uploaded with front and back images where applicable.
All documentation must be uploaded into the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
