Location: Dubuque, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
• Schedule follows every other week (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Health and Safety Requirements

• Fit test for respiratory protection.
• Trinity 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC).
• COVID-19 vaccination proof including booster or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
• Proof of MMR vaccination or immunity.
• Hepatitis B vaccination series initiated prior to start.
• Influenza vaccine proof or declination (optional).
• 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test with chest x-ray if positive TB as per regional requirements.
• Varicella vaccination or immunity proof.
• Current physical/health statement confirming fitness to work.
• Current Tdap vaccine or declination if no pediatric interaction.

Professional and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check covering federal, nationwide, and county records from the last 7 years, including SSN verification.
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED.
• Verification of license/certification dated within 30 days of start.
• Completion of various Trinity-specific forms and agreements including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
  • Integrity and Audit Services Form
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure
  • Non-Employee Upload Form
  • Criminal History and Abuse Registry checks (Iowa-specific)
  • OFAC sanctions screening within 30 days of start
• Trinity CORE exam and Joint Commission testing within the past year.
• System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start.

Additional Notes

• All required documents and verifications must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
• Specialty competency and skills checklist are mandatory for clinical contractors.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement for this position.
