Job Opportunity: Diagnostic Imaging - Sonographer (Vascular Testing)
Location: Bangor, Maine
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Start Date: ASAP
Shift Schedule:
- Varies between 5 eight-hour shifts (7:45 AM - 4:15 PM or 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM) and 4 ten-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Staff must be flexible to work all shift types depending on department needs, with more 8-hour shifts than 10-hour shifts
- Every 4-6 weeks includes a weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM) with on-call starting Friday 5 PM through Monday 7 AM (call backs are infrequent)
Patient Population:
- Must have experience with both pediatric and adult patients
- Specific patient types and daily volume discussed during interview
Licensure and Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)
Skills:
- Dependent on department needs; details discussed during interview
Support on Unit:
- Lead Technologist
- Physician support available

- EMR system: Cerner
Floating:
- May float between main hospital campus and Outpatient Imaging Center; details discussed during manager interview
Orientation and Scheduling:
