Unit Overview

Medical oncology progressive care unit with a small med-surg component
Adult oncology telemetry unit with a large PCU-level population
Pediatric patients are extremely rare and pediatric experience is not required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Use of rapid response teams
Feeding tube care and management
Accessing ports
Blood product administration
Central line care and management
PICC line management
Heparin protocols
Manage cardiac drips without titration

Preferred Experience

Oncology experience
Previous travel experience
