Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- Post Partum (1 year of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience
- Teaching hospital experience
- Trauma Level I experience

- Antihypertensives
- Assist with circumcision and assess site post-op
- Car seat education
- Cord care
- Discharge teaching to parents
- Infant identification
- IV antibiotics
- Newborn assessment

Schedule Notes
- 8-hour and 12-hour shifts are available
- Orientation is 1 day, scheduled based on availability
- Candidates are expected to complete compliance items promptly
- No start-date pushes will be honored
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Previous permanent employees must observe a 1-year separation period before returning
- Patient ratio is 1:6–8 (3–4 mother/baby pairs)
- Scrubs required: Royal Blue
