Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Saint Louis, Missouri
Night shift: 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
Contract length: 18 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience
Critical Care Float experience
Trauma experience

Preferred Qualifications

CRRT experience
Epic experience
Cardiac skill set experience, including Swan/hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, vasoactive drips
Triage, ICP, PA lines, and Level 1 trauma experience
Chemo, CCRN, ONS, TNCC, and CPI

Work Setting

ICU float position covering multiple ICUs
May float to inpatient floors, non-critical care units, and may be asked to work as a patient sitter when needed
ICU ratio: 2:1
Floor ratio: up to 1:3

Additional Notes

Strong, independent ICU nurses are needed
