Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Greeneville, Tennessee.
• 13-week contract.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:30–7:00.
• 36/36 schedule.
• Floating required.
• No call.
• 1:7 ratio.
• Traveler’s permanent residence must be 100 miles or more from the hospital’s service area.
• General orientation begins on Sundays.
• 16 hours of nonbillable orientation.
• The role includes participation in nursing student support and clinical education.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Med Surg experience within the last year.
• 1 year of Med Surg experience.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI.
• RN license verification.
• NURSYS verification.
• Skills checklist.
• Background check.
• Education verification.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM.
• HHS/OIG.
• Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry, if licensed or certified in Tennessee or working at a Tennessee facility.
• Color blind testing.
• Competency exam.
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable by profession.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start for Aya candidates.
• Negative TB or chest X-ray.
• MMR immunity documentation for measles, mumps, and rubella.
• Hepatitis B documentation.
• Varicella immunity documentation.
• Drug screen within 14 days of start.
• Photo for badge.
• Staff info form.
• Contaminated sharps and body fluid exposure statement.
• Respirator medical evaluation questionnaire.
• Respiratory medical clearance form.
• CDC facial hair guidelines review for respirator use.
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement.
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season.
• 2 references accepted, with 3 preferred.

Preferred

• 3 references.
• Epic experience in the past 6 months, if applicable on the staff info form.
• TNCC for ER candidates.
• NRP for ER candidates, highly preferred prior to start.
