Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
• 16-week assignment
• Day or night shifts, 3x12 hours
• Adults and geriatrics
• Oncology med-surg/telemetry setting
• Floating required to other med-surg oncology units
• Variable weekends based on unit needs
• No set or blocked scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Hematology / Oncology experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience
• ONS Chemo certification

Unit Notes

• Focus on solid tumor oncology care across the cancer journey
• Emphasis on infection prevention and fall prevention
• Typical patient diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, plus antineoplastic chemotherapy encounters
• Staffing goal is 1:4, with up to 1:5
