Schedule
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 18:45 to 7:15
- 36 hours per week
Unit Details
- Adult to Geriatric patient population
- 23-bed unit
- 1:6 ratio
- COVID-19-focused unit with cameras, baby monitors, dinemaps, and computers in every room
- Private rooms with the ability to make every room negative pressure when needed
- High respiratory patient needs, including Hiflow, CPAP, BIPAP, COVID-19 patients, blood transfusions, wound vacs, and specialty beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Full compliance required to start on time
Preferred
- 1st timers accepted with 2 years of experience
Schedule Expectations
- Every other weekend, unless specified elsewhere
- 5 to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- No call
- Major holidays may be required based on assignment timing
Floating
- May float within facility/scope of practice as needed
- May also float to a sister campus
Additional Notes
- Navy blue scrubs
- Locals accepted
- Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR are used on the unit
