Overview

• Travel/Contract role in New Brunswick, New Jersey
• Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 3x12s
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Unit: Level 4, 24 beds
• No call
• No floating
• RTO due at time of submission; manager requests no more than 5 days max
• Scrubs provided

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• 3 references required; one must be supervisor level
• Criminal background check with SSN trace, states, counties, national criminal, and national sex offender searches
• Background check within 30 days of start
• SAM search within 30 days of start
• OIG search within 30 days of start
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
• State license copy
• NURSYS verification
• Physical exam / fit to work statement
• Tdap
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Rubeola immunity
• Mumps immunity
• Rubella immunity
• Hepatitis B immunity or declination
• Varicella immunity
• Negative 10-panel drug test
• Hepatitis C negative or non-reactive titer
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption
• Photo for badge
• Orientation self-study packet reviewed and signed
• Skills checklist
• Work history verification

Preferred

• IV Certification should be noted in the submission if the candidate has it

Notes

• Candidates may obtain C-EFM prior to start date if they do not already have it
• Candidates who have worked in New Jersey must provide proof of IV Certification or complete the facility’s IV modules/course
