Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Seattle, Washington
• 13 or 26 weeks, traveler choice
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 48 hours per week
• 6 weekend days per contract

Unit / Setting

• High-volume, high-census postpartum unit
• High-risk obstetric patient population
• Postpartum care following delivery after pregnancy
• Standard census includes 4 couplets
• May be asked to manage a 4th couplet during a census surge

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of experience in high-acuity postpartum care
• Post Partum experience within the last year
• Experience working with high-risk patients
• Magnesium administration experience
• Pitocin administration experience
• Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
• Substance withdrawal care experience
• Ability to manage 4 couplets (postpartum patients with newborns)
• Labor and Delivery experience
• Experience with Epic
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Academy of Pediatrics or American Heart Association or Canadian Paediatric Society

Float Scope

• Issaquah Campus - Postpartum
• Edmonds Campus - Postpartum
• Labor and Delivery for 2nd hour of recovery

Preferred

• JADA experience
