Overview

Travel/Contract role in Tucson, Arizona
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 hours per week
1:3 patient ratio
Busy, high-volume delivery hospital with a neonatal transport team
Will float to PEDS/PICU
6 weekend shifts per contract
No call

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
Experience working with Neonate patients
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
Experience with Epic
No first-time travelers
No locals within 75 miles

Unit / Float Scope

NICU
Float scope includes PEDS/PICU
When floating, assignments may include infants 6 months or younger, NICU overflow Level II patients, ICU 1:1 or 1:2 assignments, and assessment/vitals/labs on well newborns in LD or MB

Notes
