PCU Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Cape Girardeau, Missouri
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 hours per week
75-mile radius rule

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Cardiac patients
Experience with cardiac drips
Experience with cardiothoracic surgeries
Experience with chest pain management
Experience with post cath lab interventions
Experience with high ratios - 1:5 or 1:6
Experience with Epic

Preferred

BLS is highly preferred

Background check covering the past 7 years, including all locations lived/worked and all aliases
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Missouri state-specific search
NURSYS verification
Tech Cert Verification - National within 30 days of start
Pass/Fail testing for EPIC
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
Color blind testing
Competency exam, as applicable
Photo for badge
Influenza verification form
E-learning completion and transcript
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Mask fit test within 12 months of start
Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Flu vaccination or approved exemption documentation for the current flu season
