Radiation Therapist Travel/Contract Position

Location: Glasgow, Kentucky
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (5 days x 8 hours)
Hours per Week: 40
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Radiation Therapist to work in a clinical setting. This is a travel/contract role with a fixed Monday through Friday schedule. No on-call or floating responsibilities. Local candidates within a 65-mile radius are accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in Kentucky
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background Check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be completed before start
• E-Verify attestation required
• Education verification required; official transcript or diploma may be accepted
• Kentucky Vulnerable Adult Maltreatment Registry check required
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Complete employment application including 7-year work history
• Performance evaluation from previous employer within 1 year, updated annually
• Skills checklist and competency exams updated annually as applicable
• Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet job demands
• Negative 13-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (instant acceptable)
• Immunizations and titers required: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (original or official copies only; no declinations accepted)
• TB screening: Qgold/TSPOT within 2 months of start, with annual updates and follow-up if positive
• Seasonal flu vaccination documentation required for flu season (declinations not accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccination, exemption, or declination documentation required for reporting (will not prevent start)
• Fit mask test (N95) within 1 year, updated annually

Work Conditions

• No on-call duties
• No floating outside scope of practice
• Fixed schedule: Monday through Friday, no block scheduling accommodations
• Badge photo required with specific background and facial piercing guidelines

Notes

• Candidates must complete facility-specific forms and agreements prior to start, including confidentiality and computer use agreements
• Time-sensitive documents must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Facility will conduct its own background check in addition to agency requirements
• Random drug screening may be required during the contract
• Candidates must have prescriptions in hand for any medications during onsite drug screening
