Experience & Education Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Associate Degree graduate from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program
  • EPIC experience required

Time Off / Response to Offer

  • Response to offer (RTO): Maximum 7 days

Screening & Interview Process

  • Clinical pre-screen to determine fit
  • Manager interview required

Required Documentation & Compliance

Background Checks

  • 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
  • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
  • PA FBI Fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days or will be removed from assignment
  • Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required, must be finalized prior to start (cannot start with results pending)
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search required within 5 years; candidate may start with results pending but must have results on file within 45 days or will be removed from assignment

Certifications

  • ARRT (required)
  • BLS (required)
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification as applicable (refer to unit/job description)
  • State License primary source verification
  • NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP as applicable
  • Tech Cert Verification - National as applicable
  • Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing for RNs (except OR and Home Health)
  • Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (pass/fail exam with remediation process)

Health Requirements

  • Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days; PPD not accepted
  • Immunizations or positive titers required for:
    • Rubeola (Measles) – 2 doses or positive titer
    • Mumps – 2 doses or positive titer
    • Rubella – 2 doses or positive titer
    • Hepatitis B – positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) plus declination form if applicable
    • Varicella – 2 doses or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or valid medical/religious exemption required annually by October 31
  • COVID-19 vaccine, medical/religious exemption, or declination accepted; documentation required
  • Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (Aya requirement only, not required by facility)
  • Respiratory Safety clearance required within 1 year, renewed annually

  • Passport-style photo for badge (professional attire, clear background, no filters)
  • Medical Statement Non-Employee Ability to Work form (preferred, required within 90 days)
  • WellSpan Health Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, Commitment to Health & Wellness, Non-Employee Affidavit (all must be reviewed and signed)
  • I9 Attestation and Documentation Attestation (agency to complete)
  • WellSpan LMS modules for RNs and CNAs (must be completed by due dates, PC/laptop only)
  • Hepatitis B declination form if applicable
  • Safety and Security Vehicle Registration (if applicable)

History & Verification

  • Two professional references within 3 years
  • Most recent resume or employment application
  • Annual skills checklist
  • Performance evaluations completed onsite during assignment
