Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Description

Weekend only position
Requires 4+ years of experience in the Operating Room (OR)
Must be well-rounded and able to circulate a variety of cases
Trauma experience is required
Level 2 experience required; Level 1 experience preferred
Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
Minimum 4 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Certified First Assistant (CFA)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
