Job Opportunity: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Shift: Days, 4x10 hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Job Description
- Perform bedside echocardiogram exams within the specialty of Radiology / Cardiology.
- Floating within the specialty and mobility to different units required.
- Work every third weekend and holidays as scheduled.
- No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required.
- Equipment: Philips preferred.
- Documentation systems: EPIC, ISCV.
- Scrub color: Navy blue (pink for trauma or pediatric departments as applicable).
Patient Population
- Adult and Geriatric patients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist.
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year.
- Certification by ARDMS or CCI.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Requirements
- Two supervisory references within 1 year of start.
- Employment application/resume completed within 30 days of start.
- Verification of previous 5 years of work history.
- Compliance with facility-specific dress code and documentation policies.
- Completion of confidentiality agreements and other facility-required documents prior to start.
Notes
- Floating and mobility within the specialty are required.
- Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory as scheduled.
- No prior travel experience is explicitly required for this position.
This position offers a structured day shift schedule with a focus on echocardiography in adult and geriatric populations, requiring strong clinical skills and certifications in cardiac sonography.
