Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience.
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.

Additional Requirements and Notes

• Fingerprinting: Ohio BCI & FBI fingerprinting must be completed using specific code prior to start. Fingerprints must be current within 1 year of start or renewed if there is a break in service over 90 days.
• Pending background check attestation required if fingerprint results are pending at start.
• Candidates must review and sign dress code and hand hygiene policy.
• Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training certificate required prior to start and updated annually.
• Ethics and compliance policies must be reviewed and acknowledged annually for new contracts.
• NIH Stroke Certification may be required depending on unit assignment; verify if applicable.
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for all RNs within 1 year of start and updated annually (not applicable for Surgical Techs).
• Orientation and competency remediation processes are in place for required exams.
• Physical and health document expiration dates generally use a 3/3/3000 placeholder unless otherwise specified.
• COVID-19 vaccination is strongly recommended but not required.
