Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Job Details

Shift Options:
- 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) with rotating weekend and weekday call
- Or 4 days a week, 9-hour shifts
Unit: Procedure Room Unit with:
- 2 Fluoroscopy Rooms
- 2 Ultrasound Rooms
- 1 CT-capable Room
Average caseload: 10-15 cases per day
Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
Charting System: Meditech

Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Background and Health Requirements

Government-issued photo ID required
7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start (including SSN trace, counties/states lived/worked, sex offender registry)
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
Virginia State Police background check performed by facility
Physical exam within 1 year of start, renewed annually
Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (including marijuana; zero tolerance policy)
TB screening: Negative QFT Gold, T-Spot, or 2-step PPD within 1 year; if positive, chest x-ray within 5 years and TB questionnaire required
Immunizations/vaccinations required or proof of immunity:
- Tdap within past 10 years
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer, vaccine series, or declination)
Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31) unless approved medical or religious exemption

Orientation safety manual acknowledgment

Fit mask testing (N95) required annually; onsite testing available
Call requirements include rotating weekends and weekdays
