CT Tech

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Location: Amarillo, Texas Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Block, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (10:00 to 22:30), 36 hours per week

Role Overview

Performs high volume general CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, and CT Cardiac exams
Works in a high-paced environment
Must be willing to transport patients
Must be proficient with perfusion scanning for stroke and trauma patients
CT scanners: Siemens Somatom AS and Canon Aquilon One
Unit accepts first-time travelers
50-mile radius rule; local candidates not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, completed within the last year
ARRT (R) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association, RQI, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute
CMRT
Must be proficient with perfusion scanning for strokes and trauma patients
