CT Tech

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Virginia
• CT Technologist experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• 2 years of experience
• Travel experience

Onboarding and Compliance

• Identification and eligibility: Government-issued photo ID, and proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Background checks: Background check within 90 days of start, updated annually, covering criminal records for the last 7 years. Education verification of the highest degree earned. EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start. Instant statewide background checks are not acceptable.
• Competency: Competency exam with a minimum score of 80%, completed within 1 year of start and renewed annually
• Physical and respiratory: Physical exam within 1 year of start. N95 fit test within 1 year of start, renewed annually, using an approved model.
• TB: Negative QuantiFERON (QFT) gold test within 30 days of start. PPD and T-SPOT are not acceptable. Annual TB screening assessment and TB questionnaire required.
• Immunity: Proof of immunity to measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B. Titers, vaccine series, or past lab evidence are accepted. Declinations are not accepted for measles, mumps, rubella, or varicella. Hepatitis B may be covered by a facility declination form if the titer is negative or equivocal. Hepatitis B titers must be ordered within 72 hours of signing.
• Drug screen: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start. A positive THC result requires a Virginia medical marijuana card. Order within 72 hours of signing.
• Influenza: Flu vaccine or approved exemption required for the 2026-27 flu season, which starts 09/16. Deadline is 10/31. Vaccines are available onsite.
• Professional history: 2 professional references from the same unit or specialty, from within 2 years of start. Employment application required. Skills checklist for the applicable unit, updated annually.
