Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Cath Lab Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Portland, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details

Required Certifications
- ACLS (AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation equivalent)
- BLS (AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation equivalent)
- PALS (AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation equivalent)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from AAP, AHA, or Canadian Paediatric Society
- Chemotherapy certification (if applicable)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (if applicable)
- State License (copy of professional license)
- NURSYS Verification (for RNs)
- IV Certification (LVN/LPN/Other, if applicable)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) (if applicable)
- NIH Stroke Certification (every 2 years, if applicable)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification (if applicable)
- Tech Certification Verification (National) for Allied Professionals
Experience Requirements
- Cath Lab experience required, preferably with Neuro, IR, and Cardiac procedures

- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respirator safety clearance required for travel candidates (annual)
- Fit mask testing required for travel candidates (annual)
Documentation & Training Requirements
- Employment application covering last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors)
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment in comparable specialty/setting (6 months for CNAs)
- Skills checklist updated annually (if applicable)
- Competency exams as applicable (medication test, pharmacology, color blind testing if required)
- Providence-specific WorkRamp training modules required prior to start, including:
- Core modules for Oregon facilities
- Specialty-specific modules if applicable
- Annual regulatory modules
- Epic training modules required for charting system proficiency

- Float policy acknowledgment required (may be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance)
- Radiation badge issued by facility if applicable
- Passport-style badge photo required
