Job Responsibilities

Cover all surgical departments including pre-op, post-op, circulator, PACU, and endoscopy
Float between units within surgical services and assist other departments as needed within scope

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
CHEMO (Chemotherapy) - if applicable

Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 12 months; annual updates required
MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) immunity via vaccines or positive titer (declination accepted)
Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination (special rules for Alaska placements)
Varicella immunity via vaccines or positive titer (declination accepted)
10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests; marijuana panel excluded)
Seasonal Flu Vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
COVID-19 vaccine or declination

Background and Documentation Requirements

Background Check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
E-Verify attestation required
