Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Opportunity

Location: Lewisburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Direct Intra OR circulating experience and scrub experience preferred
• Experience must support Orthopedics (Joints, Spine, Sports Injury) and/or General Surgery as priority/main experience
• May care for COVID patients
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility

Schedule

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (0700-1730 or 0900-1930)
• Call required: 4-5 call shifts per 6-week period
• Call hours: Weekday call 1930-0700, weekend call 0700-0700
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no time off allowed between Christmas and New Year's
• Weekends as needed

Experience & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (highest required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• EPIC experience required

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Return to Office (RTO) maximum 7 days
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, fingerprinting (PA FBI) required
• Education verification required
• Multiple health documents required including:

  • Physical exam within 90 days of start
  • Immunizations and titers for Hepatitis B, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella
  • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days
  • Flu vaccination or valid exemption required annually
  • COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption/declination accepted
  • Drug testing (9 panel) within 1 year (Aya requirement only)
  • Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
• Pennsylvania-specific clearances:

  • Child Abuse Search (PA Childline) within 5 years, results must be on file within 45 days of assignment start
  • PA FBI Fingerprinting within 5 years, results must be on file within 45 days of assignment start
  • Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search within 1 year, must be finalized prior to start
• Professional references: 2 required within 3 years
• Skills checklist required annually
• Performance evaluations completed onsite during assignment

Additional Notes

• Candidate will undergo clinical screening and manager interview for final decision
• Photo for badge required (passport-style, professional appearance)
• Candidate must review and sign facility-specific documents including Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, Commitment to Health & Wellness, and others
• Learning Management System (LMS) modules required for RNs, to be completed by due dates or during orientation
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
