Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Experience Requirements

Minimum Years of Specialty Experience: 2 years
Prior Travel Experience: Not required; unit accepts first-time travelers depending on experience

Required Skills & Certifications

Skills:
- Scrub, Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy
- Impella insertion
- Left and Right heart catheterization
- Inpatient care, Obtaining Vitals, Rhythm Interpretation
Certifications:
- ACLS (AHA Provider only)
- ARRT
- RCIS or RRT (either accepted)
- New Hampshire State License

Preferred Skills & Certifications

Monitor, Ablations, Pacemaker/Defibrillator device placement
Hemodynamic Monitoring, Arrhythmia Induction, Baseline Measurements
Cardiac Mapping, Cardioversion, Conduction Studies, Electrophysiology Evaluation
Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker Insertion
Experience with EPIC and Mac Lab systems

Unit Details

Elective and emergent PCI
Pacemaker and ICD implants
IABP, Impella, STEMI patients
Monitoring experience is a plus

Orientation: Dependent on experience
Documentation System: EPIC

Background & Compliance Requirements

Background Check: Required within 30 days of start, including:
- Social Security Verification
- National Sex Offender Registry Search
- National Criminal Search
- FACIS L3
- Education Verification
- Criminal county/state searches (excluding NH counties; NH State Police Search required)
- BEAS State Registry (NH placements)
Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 14 days prior to start
Health Documents:
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
- Fit mask test (annual)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within last 10 years (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Immunizations or titers for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct 31 - Apr 1) with exemptions allowed
Respiratory Safety Clearance: Required for all clinical travelers
Competency Exams:
- Basic Dysrhythmia EKG exam required within 48 hours of contract signing for specified units
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam required for internal purposes

Additional Requirements

Two current professional references within the last 3 years (one must be from a supervisor)
Employment application and skills checklist required
Annual internal evaluation for travelers with Aya or agency over 1 year
Various facility-specific immunization and exemption forms may be required
