Job Description

• Work in a Bariatric Outpatient Clinic
• Schedule options:

  • Monday to Friday (5x8 hour shifts)
  • Tuesday to Friday (4x10 hour shifts)
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
• Average daily census: 30 patients
• Visits per day: 25
• Patient population: Adults
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Clinical focus: Surgery consults for Gastric Bypass, Sleeves, Band Removals, Bariatric Surgeries, and Gallbladder surgeries for Bariatric Est patients
• APRN handles Medically Managed Weight Loss program
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
• First-time travelers are welcome (prior travel experience NOT required)
• Must have or be eligible for Missouri state license prior to start (pending license accepted before start)
• Certifications required:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)

• Casual business dress preferred
• Charting system: EPIC

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background checks including national criminal, state, county, and sex offender registry
• Education verification (official transcript or diploma required)
• Missouri EDL Search within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Drug screening within 30 days of start
• Immunizations/vaccinations required or documented declinations:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu vaccine (or approved medical/religious exemption)
• Other health documents: Negative TB test or chest X-ray, fit mask testing onsite
• Professional references (2 within last 3 years)
• Employment application, skills checklist, and work history verification

Additional Notes

• Locals within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate
• No weekend or on-call duties
• No prior travel experience required; first-time travelers are accepted
