Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology


Job Details

  • Shift: 7p-7a Midnights (Rotating Weekends)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Unit: Adults & Geriatrics
  • Rooms: 8
  • Patient Ratio: 1:2
  • Purpose: Backfill position on the midnight shift

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience (screening for at least 1.5 years)
  • Experience with GE, PAC & Siemens equipment
  • ARRT CT certification required
  • First-time travelers and locals are welcome

Certifications Required

  • ACLS (AHA only; no certificates of completion or RQI cards accepted)
  • BLS (AHA only; no certificates of completion or RQI cards accepted)
  • PALS (AHA only; required only for certain pediatric units)
  • NRP (as applicable; no certificates of completion or RQI cards accepted)
  • National Tech Certification verification as applicable
  • State License verification (primary source online verification)
  • Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) required for certain units including ICU and Tele

Compliance & Documentation

  • Background checks including 7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG (all required and updated annually)
  • Government-issued photo ID required
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • Fit mask test within 1 year of start (specific mask types accepted)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual TB questionnaire if past positive)
  • Immunizations or titers required for:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B
    • Varicella
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant drug screens not accepted)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required year-round with strict deadlines; no exemptions allowed

Additional Requirements

  • Two recent verified professional references from managers or supervisors (charge RN references not accepted)
  • Completion of facility-specific orientation paperwork within 3 weeks of start date
  • Compliance with facility-specific policies including confidentiality, code of conduct, conflict of interest, sexual harassment, and cornerstone module attestations
