Job Opportunity: Sr. Nuclear Medicine / PET CT Scan Technologist
Location: Los Angeles, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)

Work Schedule
- Dayshift, Monday through Friday
- No call or weekend shifts
- Floating required within scope to support multiple sites (Westwood, Santa Monica, Encino, Santa Clarita) as needed
Job Description
- Utilize radioactive materials and X-rays for diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic treatment
- Work under direction of licensed authorized user or license designee
- Provide diagnostic evaluation and therapeutics for all ages through safe and effective use of radionuclides
- Support multiple facilities as requested by chief technologist
Licensure & Certifications
- Current and valid Nuclear Medicine and CT and/or X-ray licenses (dual license preferred)
- State License: Physical copy of CDPH RHB Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and Fluoroscopy permits required
- Tech Certification Verification: Must be current within 30 days prior to start
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Valid Driver’s License or government-issued photo ID
- Background checks including Social Security Trace, National Criminal History (7 years), Sex Offender Search, FACIS level 3, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG (all within 30 days of start)
- Education Verification: Diploma or official transcripts required
- Facility-specific onboarding documents including confidentiality agreements, abuse reporting, HIPAA training, annual education modules, and online training modules
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- Negative TB test (QGold) within 1 year
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (declination accepted)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (titers or vaccination proof required)
- Seasonal Flu vaccination or signed declination
- COVID-19 vaccine or declination (vaccine must be after 9/12/2023)
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months (Aya requirement)
Additional Requirements
- References: 2 required, supervisor level or above, one within the last year
- Employment application covering last 7 years with explanations for gaps over 30 days
- Work history verification for last 5 years
- Skills checklist and competency exams as required by facility
Notes
- Scrubs color: Royal Blue
- Floating to sister facilities as needed
- Onsite fit testing available for mask fit failures under strict guidelines
- Multiple facility-specific policies and training modules must be completed prior to start
