Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER) - Travel/Contract

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience
• First-time travelers accepted (no prior travel experience required)

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) – must have at time of submittal
• ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross) – must have at time of submittal
• PALS (AHA or American Red Cross) – must have at time of submittal
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – must obtain prior to start

Required Licenses

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Florida

Special Requirements

• Epic electronic health record experience at level 3 or 4 required
• Must be nicotine-free (smoke-free facility)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required

Work Hours

• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts

Compliance and Onboarding Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start
• Physical exam within 6 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination series or approved medical/religious exemption required
• Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• Two professional references within 2 years required
• Pass/fail testing (EKG/Medication) during orientation
• Completion of online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome)

Additional Notes

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; late requests may not be approved
• Candidates must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service
• Candidates must complete all onboarding modules promptly; delays may affect start date
• Facility is smoke-free and requires nicotine-free status with drug screening verification
