Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience
- Experience in Surgical ICU Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or Stepdown units
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Experience with telemetry monitoring on the unit
- Experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization care
- Wound care experience
- Experience managing suicidal ideation (SI)
- Experience with atrial fibrillation (AFIB)
- Experience with gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB)
- Experience caring for COVID patients
