Job Opportunity: Case Manager Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Clinton, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position: Case Manager RN
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8)
• Every other weekend required
• Float to Medical units, ICU/CCU, and Maternal Child units

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Acute hospital experience required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Prior travel experience required (must have completed at least 1 prior travel contract)
• Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
• Completion of 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education, employment, license, and contact information
• Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana) and updated annually
• Criminal background check within 90 days including all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Immunizations and health requirements including:

  • Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within required timeframes
  • Documentation of MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella vaccinations or titers
  • Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
• Competency exams including medication/pharmacology and EKG/dysrhythmia competency as applicable
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety modules prior to start

Certifications (as applicable)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – please review unit requirements
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) if working in ED or Pediatrics
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) as required by unit
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) as required by unit
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) for Labor & Delivery candidates

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license if driving is an essential job function
• Annual N95 fit test (client may complete on-site if needed)
• Completion of facility-specific background check attestations, drug screen attestations, and I9/E-Verify attestations
• Completion of required facility modules (SITELS) before hire date

Experience & Skills

• Acute hospital experience required
• Must be able to float to multiple units including ICU/CCU and Maternal Child
• Must be available for every other weekend coverage

This position is ideal for experienced RNs with prior travel contract experience seeking a 13-week travel assignment in Maryland with a reputable healthcare system.
