Mobile Radiologic Technologist (Perm)

Role Overview

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Perform exams ordered by physicians, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images. Transmit images and EKGs to Radiologists and Cardiologists for interpretation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and process portable X-Rays and EKGs (as needed).
  • Transport and set up portable X-Ray equipment at various care facilities.
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
  • Transmit images and exam paperwork daily according to protocol.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, management, peers, and clients professionally.
  • Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment in good working order.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs multiple times daily (16-24 times).
  • Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys may reduce physical strain.
  • Work involves mobility and being on the move throughout the day.

Certifications & Licensure Requirements

  • ARRT Certification required.
  • Valid state licensure in Delaware and/or Maryland (Compact license allowed).
  • Limited licenses are not accepted.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing for the applicable state.

Additional Requirements

  • COVID-19 vaccination required or approved exemption documentation.
