Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Days)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Phoenix, AZ. This is a temporary assignment at a Level I Trauma Center known for advanced specialty care including high-risk obstetrics, advanced heart care, organ transplantation, and more. The facility is nationally recognized and affiliated with a medical college, providing a collaborative and research-focused environment.


Required Qualifications

  • License: Active Arizona RN license or Compact RN license
  • Experience: Minimum 24 months of current ICU experience (highest required years of experience)
  • Certifications:
    • American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Additional Requirements:
    • No hits on Nursys license verification at time of submission
    • Flu vaccination required (declinations accepted with proper forms)
    • Valid Driver’s License (Note: Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will NOT be considered)
    • Skills checklist specific to ICU discipline
    • Resume must include all facilities worked, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units
    • Completion of required learning modules prior to assignment start
    • Background requirements specific to the facility must be met and attested to

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel experience is preferred but not required

Assignment Details

  • Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date
  • Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days and cannot be approved during the first week or holidays
  • All shifts and departments the traveler is willing to work must be clearly indicated
  • Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment
  • Assignment may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty

Notes

  • Candidates with an Arizona driver’s license will not be considered
  • Flu vaccination status must be included in submission notes
  • The facility assesses a 2% payment discount fee and a 2% technology fee on all transactions
