Registered Nurse (RN) - First Assist (Days)

Job Description

• Position requires working in an 8-bed unit with facility-provided scrubs.
• Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training.
• Call pay includes 4/hour call, call-back, holiday, and overtime multipliers at 1.25%.
• Shift accommodations are not considered; candidates must be willing to work 8-hour shifts.
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed. RTO requests after submission will not be approved.
• Candidates must have their own vehicle.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum 2 years of First Assist experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system is highly preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Must include permanent address in profile to avoid processing delays.
• Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times of availability; "anytime" is not accepted.
• All scheduling requests, including time off, must be made at the time of submission; no changes allowed after offer.
• Travelers must have voicemail set up on their phones for facility communication.

Contract Length

• Approximately 13 weeks.
