Hours per Day: 8

Assist the Physical Therapist in treating patients of all ages, from newborns to end-of-life care.
Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups.
Collaborate directly with the Physical Therapist to modify care as needed.
Communicate with families to recommend effective at-home techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the physical therapy area.
Assist patients in transferring from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork.
Teach patients techniques including balance training.

Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Missouri
Physical Therapy Assistant with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) settings
Experience in Rehabilitation settings
