Sonographer Position
Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
Specialty: Sonography (OB/GYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Job Details
- Perform detailed anatomical surveys, fetal echocardiograms, biophysical profiles (BPP), fetal growth assessments, umbilical artery Dopplers, transvaginal ultrasounds, first trimester ultrasounds, and amniocentesis ultrasound guidance.
- Limit of 10 scans per day with a restricted number of complex scans.
- Use of Viewpoint and Epic systems for imaging documentation.
- Equipment includes GE E10 and Expert 22 ultrasound machines.
- Reporting is done to an in-office Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) provider.
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call shifts required.
- Dress code includes black pants and employer-specific scrub colors.
- No leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- No IV insertion duties.
- Float assignments are not applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential with ARDMS certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
- Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) sonography.
- Experience as an OB/GYN sonographer.
