Role Overview

Support 38 rooms, including Main OR, CVOR, CCL, L&D, Endo, EP lab suites, and various MRI, CT, US, X-Ray, and Nuc Med rooms.

Required Qualifications

• Anesthesia Technician (2 years of experience)
• Anesthesia Technician experience within the last year
• BLS
• Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric experience
• Experience with GE anesthesia machines
• Experience with Mindray

Duties

• Clean anesthesia machines
• Set up circuits
• Perform anesthesia machine checks
• Wipe down machines
• Manage inventory for anesthesia machines, Omnicells, and supply cabinets
• Restock supplies
• Move items to needed locations
• Assist with art lines and CRNA support
• Respond to OB Stat, Anesthesia Stat, Trauma, and Stroke alerts

Schedule

• 8-hour day/evening shifts
• Sundays required with the set schedule
• Holiday work required unless approved time off is arranged in advance
• Call is offered but not required
• Opportunity for overtime

Floating

• Rare potential to float within the department to Meridian and Nampa ORs

Orientation

• 3 shifts in the department

• Scrubs and locker are provided
• Bring own OR shoes
• Anesthesiologists and CRNAs are in house 24/7
• Main and CVOR can do urgent cases with a 30-minute response time
