Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

• Position involves working as an RN in the Emergency Room (ER), Acute Care, and Long-Term Care (LTC) areas of a small critical access hospital with no separate units.
• RNs cover all patient care areas as needed.
• Shifts: Six 12-hour shifts over a two-week period (72 hours total) with every 3rd weekend off.
• When assigned to the ER and no patients are present, the RN will provide backup support in acute and LTC areas.
• When assigned to medication administration, the RN will pass medications and perform procedures for both LTC and acute patients.
• This facility is not latex-free.
• Hours are not guaranteed.
• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Hawaii
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
