Hospice Chaplain (Behavioral Health) – Contract
Location: Albany, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (8:00 AM – 2:30 PM), no weekends
Hours per Week: 24 hours
Job Description
Provide pastoral and spiritual care to hospice patients and their families during the final stages of illness. Services are delivered primarily in home settings, which may include private residences, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and adult foster homes. Support includes intermittent skilled nursing visits, pain and symptom management, medical social services, counseling, spiritual support, hospice aides, trained volunteers, and bereavement support.
Travel to multiple points of care is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- At least 2 years of psychology experience, including experience within the last year
- Valid driver’s license and personal automobile with required insurance; must maintain vehicle in good working order
- Ability to travel for work assignments at multiple care locations

- This position is part-time (.6 FTE).
- No weekend shifts.
