Respiratory Therapist - Contract Position

Location: Newport, Vermont
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM), 3 shifts per week, every other weekend required

Job Description

• Position available at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in a small town near the Canadian border.
• Primarily day shifts with some schedule variability based on need.
• Opportunity to live and work in a community known for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling.
• Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit.
• Support provided for transition into the community and workplace.
• Attendance at department quarterly education sessions is required for agency professionals.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Vermont
• Minimum 3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
